SAP Fuel Management
A recent brief, which 2GoCloud have worked on, was to develop a demonstration of a remote data capture and display facility to enable the British Army to manage the delivery and distribution of fuel within Army bases both here in the UK and abroad.
Working in conjunction with our partner, SAP, the 2GoCloud team put together a process capable of capturing the information about fuel flows at the point of delivery, i.e. the fuel bowser, even if this is a mobile facility.

Using a combination of 2GoCloud Universal Mobile Access software to enable low cost tablets secured to the bowser as a mobile device together with interactive no-code apps using Squirrel365 and backed up by SAP’s Analytics Cloud solution, the system is capable of displaying 3 separate elements of the Fuel Management process:

Receipt of fuels into the bowsers in either imperial or metric measures and in a variety of fuel types.

Distribution of fuel into a variety of vehicle types (and within that to specific vehicles) from a specific bowser whilst maintaining a detailed audit trail.

Detailed analytics enabling comparisons to be conducted at the site of delivery into differing usage rates, impact upon availability of vehicles and fuel capacities thus ensuring maximum utilisation of available vehicles and refuelling points.
