CHALLENGE
The South West USA’s largest healthcare provider was looking to conduct a major reorganisation of their healthcare delivery units and operations and needed to cope with bringing together a variety of healthcare systems from different vendors whilst maintaining operations but keeping the flexibility of being able to switch between different vendors and systems.
SOLUTION
The iNovar US team were contracted as consultants to advise on how to cope with the complexities of a large number of differing vendor systems and to assist the management with dealing with the change to different vendors without affecting operations. 2GoCloud was used extensively in planning a major reorganisation of their delivery locations and operations and in coping with the need to provide access for users with multiple vendor systems without the expense of developing mobile apps.
RESULT
Over an 18-month project, the iNovar US team were able to show substantial savings to the healthcare provider whilst providing the flexibility of being able to switch systems and locations leading to even greater savings through the closure of some locations and concentrating their systems on fewer vendors without major re-training costs for staff.
